About us

Belgolux was founded in 1990 with the aim of determining, outlining and promoting general policy in matters of general interest concerning all aspects affecting the skylight, rooflight and smoke hatch industry in Belgium.

Belgolux represents the 12 most important manufacturers of roof light solutions in the form of skylights, skylights and smoke and heat exhaust systems. The sector employs around 500 people in Belgium and represents a turnover of €500,000,000.

There is an important export from Belgium to various European countries. Belgolux sends experts in Belgian and European standardization. There is an active representation via the NBN in the CEN TC 128/SC9, CEN TC 191/SC1 and in the CEN TC 169/WG11 as well as in the relevant Belgian mirror committees.

In addition, Belgolux plays a prominent role as a member of the European umbrella organisation Eurolux. Several meetings are held annually, as well as theme and working meetings.
